Welcome to my staff page! I’m Mr. Jones, and for the 2024-2025 school year, I teach Algebra 1, Geometry, American Literature, Biology, Health, and more here at Westchester. I wear a lot of hats, but at the core of everything I do is my belief that all students deserve high expectations, strong support, and a school community that truly sees them.

In addition to teaching, I serve as the lead teacher for the Health & Sports Medicine Magnet, where I help organize field trips, professional development, and ways to strengthen our magnet program. I’m also involved in various school leadership committees because I believe that shaping a positive school culture starts with the people who show up and do the work.

Beyond instruction, I love connecting with our students and the school community, whether it’s through their academic journey, figuring out post-high school plans, or just talking about how to navigate the unexpected in life. I believe that education should be rigorous, but also meaningful, engaging, and (dare I say) even fun.

If you see me around campus, feel free to say hi! If you have any questions, need support, or just want to talk about school, college, or your next steps, my door is always open (unless I’m telling you to get to class... in which case, you better move with urgency!).
