Ms. Tillery's Class

Ms. Tillery began teaching at Westchester High School in 2023, where she serves as a Dance and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) teacher and the Department Chair for the Visual and Performing Arts Department. She is passionate about empowering students through movement, creativity, and academic development, and is committed to helping each student discover their unique voice and potential.

Ms. Tillery holds teaching credentials in Dance, Theater, and Special Education, which allow her to support diverse learners and create inclusive, engaging classroom environments where all students can thrive. Her interdisciplinary background strengthens her ability to connect artistic expression with academic growth, leadership, and real-world skills.

As Department Chair, Ms. Tillery is dedicated to expanding opportunities in the arts, fostering collaboration, and building a strong, supportive community among students, families, and staff. She believes that the arts cultivate confidence, discipline, and resilience—qualities that extend far beyond the classroom.

Ms. Tillery looks forward to partnering with students and their families to support student success, encourage creativity, and ensure every student feels seen, valued, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

La Sra. Tillery comenzó a enseñar en la Escuela Secundaria Westchester en 2023, donde se desempeña como maestra de Danza y AVID (Avance Vía Determinación Individual) y como Jefa del Departamento de Artes Visuales y Escénicas. Le apasiona empoderar a los estudiantes a través del movimiento, la creatividad y el desarrollo académico, y está comprometida a ayudar a cada estudiante a descubrir su voz y su potencial únicos.

La Sra. Como Jefa de Departamento, la Sra.
