Softball

 

In 2012-2013, we proudly restructured the Westchester Softball Program. First, we brought in three new coaches with extensive experience with working with high school students and athletics. Second, we are one of the only athletic programs who proudly boast 2 credentialed teachers on the coaching staff. We highly valued academics and make that the focus of the Westchester Softball Program. We offer academic assistance to our student athletes as we prize the student in “student athlete.” Not only are we helping mold softball players but we are molding young ladies who are ready for the future.

 

Varsity has gone deep into the playoffs in 2013 and 2014; in 2014, Westchester Softball was featured in the Division Finals held at UCLA. Varsity Softball has been in the playoffs 3 out the last 4 years.

 

 

	JUSTIN COHEN, CO-HEAD COACH   Coach Cohen has been an assistant softball coach for 8 years while at Dorsey and West Adams. He currently teaches Social Studies at Westchester and is the Dept. Chair. 	COACH KIDO, CO-HEAD COACH   Coach Kido has been a head softball coach for 10 years while at SOCES. He has also coached Girls Golf and Girls Varsity Basketball. This is Coach Kido's fourth year coaching Westchester Softball.
